This drawing depicts a green-stained drop-front desk with iris panels also owned by Byrdcliffe, one of the best surviving examples of Byrdcliffe furniture (WBG 2007.001.001)

Ink and watercolor design depicting apple blossoms for furniture panels. While the work is unsigned, it is very similar to a series of other botanical watercolors signed by Steele.
