Description
The exterior of the bowl, at the top of the rim, features a double red bowstring framing a red geometric design broken by a stylized green flower. Beneath the bottom bowstring, four bold outlined Chinese characters read: "Be industrious and thrifty in managing household" [qinjian chijia]. A red bowstring decorates the top of the foot of the bowl.
