In the Dorsky Museum’s This Land Is Your Land and This Land Is My Land, Peter Iannarelli creates a museum-based incarnation of the Hudson River landscape, considered most famously through traditional, two-dimensional painting. By placing soil atop two museum display units, the artist divided earth as if it were private property, creating a work that refers to local, regional, and global units.
