The Center for Photography at Woodstock supports artists through an annual grant award and residencies which provide workspace and uninterrupted creative time. CPW frequently enables residency artists to connect with other institutions in the region. The work shown here by Chad Kleitsch and the collaborative team of Tarrah Krajnack and Wilka Roig were all photographed at the Dorsky Museum, using systems of art storage and collections management as their subject matter. Kleitsch’s work shows the painting A Golden Day (c. 1910) by Woodstock artist Bolton Brown, one of the founders of the Byrdcliffe Art Colony; the work was on loan to the Dorsky in 2003 for a retrospective of Brown’s work.
