Like many museums, the Dorsky connects artists and opportunities through exhibitions and, very importantly, commissioning site-specific installations. The two works shown here were commissioned from artists interested in developing contemporary perspectives based on historical images of the Hudson Valley region. In the section of the exhibition called The Cloud is another installation commissioned by the Dorsky.
